OMV Petrom is the largest oil and gas group in Southeastern Europe, with activities in the business segments of Exploration and Production, Refining and Marketing as well as Gas and Power.

Based on a  5-year contract with OMV-Petrom, which included operation and maintenance, SE-GES has installed, on a “turn-key” basis, six G2P/CHP power plants within Moinesti - Zemes area. The power plants have the following technical key parameters at ISO conditions:

1. CHP at Moinesti Compressors Station: 2 gas engines type JGS 416 GS-S.L, with nominal electrical power of circa 870 kW/unit and a thermal power of up to 380 kW (supplied by hot water 90 C/ 70 C). The electrical power is delivered through a 3150 kVA 6/0.4 kV step-up transformer.

2. G2P at Park 16 Chilii Vest: 2 gas engines type JGS 412 GS-S.L, with nominal electrical power of 790 kW/unit. The electrical power is delivered through a 2500 kVA 15/0.4 kV step-up transformer.

3. G2P at Park 2009 Chilii Toporu: 1 gas engine type JGS 420 GS-S.L, with nominal electrical power of circa 1,050 kW. The electrical power is delivered through a 2500 kVA 15/0.4 kV step up transformer.

4. CHP at Modernized Park 1 Geamana Sud: 2 gas engines type JGS 320 GS-S.L, with nominal electrical power of circa 620 kW/unit and a thermal power of up to 930 kW (supplied by hot water 90 C/ 70 C). The electrical power is delivered through a 2000 kVA 15/0.4 kV step-up transformer.

5. CHP at Park 1 Tasbuga: 3 gas engines type JGS 416 GS-S.L, with nominal electrical power of 790 kW/unit and a thermal power of up to 740 kW (supplied by hot water 90 C/ 70 C). The electrical power is delivered through 3 x 1600 kVA 20/0.4 kV step-up transformers.

6. CHP at Park 614 Tazlau: 1 gas engine type JGS 420 GS-S.L, with nominal electrical power of circa 1,160 kW and a thermal power of up to 1,170 kW (supplied by hot water 90 C/ 70 C). The electrical power is delivered through a 2000 kVA 15/0.4 kV step-up transformer.

All the electrical and thermal energy produced by the installations is delivered to OMV-Petrom Exploration & Production (E&P) for internal consumption.
